Intercessions
We offer our prayers for members of our Commission on Ministry and its Committees, the Standing Committee and Bishops and their staff as they engage in the work of Vocations in the Diocese of Virginia.
We pray for those present on this call and all other seekers who are listening for your call, Exploring the Church to hear your movement among laity, deacons and priests as they open their minds and hearts to hear where you are calling them.
We pray for those who are discerning a call to serve God’s church in any order of ministry and those who support them in their discernment, remembering especially our seekers, discernmnet facilitators, their presenting priests and members of parish and regional discernment committees supporting them.
We pray for our diocesan seminarians and others who are in formation for the priesthood, remembering especially Jon, Redmond, Lachlan, Becki, Caroline, Reggie, Tom, Kris, Ted, Joy, Kara, Paris, Emily, Paige, Josh, John, Matthew, Bart and Jackson.
