Opening
Wisdom knows and understands all things and guides us in our actions.
Prayer
O God, your Spirit of Wisdom was present at the creation and with Jesus at his baptism: Open our hearts to that same Spirit, and strengthen and guide us to love and serve you and our neighbors; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Praise
A Song of the Spirit of Wisdom (Wisdom 7:7-8, 10-14a)
I prayed and understanding was given me; * I called on God and the Spirit of Wisdom came to me. I preferred her to scepters and thrones, * and I accounted wealth as nothing in comparison with her. I loved her more than health or beauty, * and I chose to have her rather than light because her radiance never ceases. In her company, all good things came to me; * in her hands, a wealth of true riches. In all these good things, I rejoiced because Wisdom brings them, * but I did not know that she was their mother. What I learned without selfishness I pass on without reserve; * I do not hide her gifts. For Wisdom is an unfailing treasure for mortals: * those who receive her are friends with God.

Galatians 3:23-29, 4:4-7
Now before faith came, we were imprisoned and guarded under the law until faith would be revealed. Therefore the law was our disciplinarian until Christ came, so that we might be justified by faith. But now that faith has come, we are no longer subject to a disciplinarian, for in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith. As many of you as were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male and female; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to the promise. But when the fullness of time had come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, in order to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as children. Scripture: Revelation 21:22-27
I saw no temple in the city, for its temple is the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb. And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God is its light, and its lamp is the Lamb. The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it. Its gates will never be shut by day—and there will be no night there. People will bring into it the glory and the honour of the nations. But nothing unclean will enter it, nor anyone who practises abomination or falsehood, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Ev’ry tongue shall sing the praises of his birth in deepest night. He is healing for the ages; he is Christ, our God’s delight. He proclaims within his being all our hopes, our great desires. He shall die to rise redeeming all who follow with their lives.
Once again may we discover Word made flesh sent from above In our neighbor, sister, brother, in the lonely and unloved. May we touch him, may we hold him, may we cradle him with care As we learn to love each other, bringing hope from out despair.

We believe in God, Creator of all: The two-legged, the four-legged, the winged ones, and those that crawl upon the earth and swim in the waters. We believe in God, One Who Walked with Us: Our Brother Jesus born in humility, who lived and died for us and who will come again to bring us to glory. We believe in God, Spirit with Us: Ever present and ever guiding, upholding us and showing us the principles to live by. We hear God’s voice through the prophets. Creator, One Who Walked with Us, Spirit with Us, Holy One: We are named in the waters of baptism as your own, all of us related, all of us your children.
